Over the last several months the Bailey Agency has worked hard to make our personal lines department paperless.What does paperless mean to our office?First of all it means that we will no longer receive paper copies of your policy. They will be downloaded into our system from the company. While we have always recycled your old policies in a secure way, with the reduction in paper we will be lessening our environment footprint. Secondly, it will mean better customer service to you. With all of your information at our fingertips, we will better be able to resolve any issues, re-market your policy or make changes in a much quicker fashion. What does paperless mean to you, our valued customer?First and most important it means greater security for your personal information. With paper files, personal information would be compromised by an office break-in. Now your information is securely stored in our data base. Secondly, accessing your information will be much quicker when you have a question or have a problem. No more searching for your file while you wait. With a few key stokes we can pull up your policy, billing or claim information. We can securely go online to our various companies and make changes to your policy immediately, unlike the old days where we had to mail a change request to the company which would then take a couple of weeks to process. Where do we go from here?A paperless commercial lines department. While we have started scanning a few documents into our system, the commercial department offers a few more challenges than personal lines.
